Domain names

What statutes can be used to prevent someone from the unauthorized use of anothers domain name. A business was sold, but the use of the domain name was expressly excluded from the sale.

You don't state whether you were the buyer or the seller of the business. Nor do you indicate whether either party has a fictitious business name or registered trademark. There are many circumstances that influence the law in this regard.
