Legal Question in Technology Law in California

Internet law

I am starting a website and want to know what laws may apply to my website, including areas of privacy, security, government compliance and so forth. Could you direct me to a good outline or guide on this topic?

You could start here:

If you are going to take credit cards on the web site, California law requires a privacy policy and a refund policy.

It is a good idea to hire an attorney to write web site legal documents for you. My firm provides a flat rate for creation of: Terms of Service, Copyright Notice, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Clickwrap Agreement.

Feel free to contact me directly for more information.
