Is it legal to make backup copies of an Xbox 360 game I own and keep the copy only for personal use?

In my (somewhat out of date now) experience with software licenses, it was rather usual for the vendor to allow the buyer/user to make one backup copy. However, I recommend that you read the license agreement or equivalent that (probably) came with the game, or contact the vendor for a copy of the agreement.
