Legal Question in Technology Law in California
Is it legal to put a surveillance camera inside my car? This camera would be angled so as to show only the inside of the car, and nothing outside. I'm sort of confused if within a car would constitute "private property". Is there a difference between having sound recording or not?

The answer would depend on what it is, and who it is, you want to record. There have been recent incidents of motorists using hidden cameras in their vehicles and who were able to record apparent police misconduct. In some of the cases, the officer complained of an invasion of privacy!
