Using paid and free music services

I am using Yahoo's music service and I downloaded Ares because it has a internet browser but I downloaded some music but I am not sharing it with anyone I listen to music that dowloaded while I use Ares internet browser to surf the web it is legal to use a file sharing application that has web browser built in I do not download I just listen to the music that I have downloaded and use the internet. I use both paid and free music serivce do I have a legal battle withe record compaines?

Just because something is available for free downloading doesn't necessarily mean it's legal. Try archive.org for free legal music and I am sure there are other places depending on what kind of music you're into.
