Legal Question in Technology Law in California

If I have a person on Facebook who's copied my profile picture (an actual photo of me) and has used both my name and the picture to make several fake accounts as well as several indecent posts under those accounts, what legal action should I take?

I would file a formal police report as recent news has suggested that this act is illegal (as a form of cyberbullying).

You can then proceed to file suit in California against a "Doe" defendant and subpoena the defendants information and/or get Facebook to terminate the account.

Unfortunately, this is not something that you would be able to do with an attorney without having to pay unfront money. If I can help, let me know.

Good luck...

I would also immediately contact Facebook and the businesses or banks where the phony accounts were set up.
