Legal Question in Technology Law in California

Publishing transcripts on the Internet

An organization conducted a private meeting. The meeting was also broadcasted to several affiliates in a region of the U.S. through an Internet broadcast.

This meeting was recorded.

Does someone have the right to make a copy of the transcript of the meeting and publish that transcript on a website on the Inernet without the express permission of the orgnization who conducted the meeting? This was not a public meeting, but only for member affiliates.

Thanks for any comments

Re: Publishing transcripts on the Internet

Depending on the nature of the meeting and what was said, it is unlikely any laws are broken by the publication.
