Technically, I think the phone company's logs DO contain the information you're looking for, however to obtain that information you'd need either:

(a) a Warrant (if law enforcement action is involved), or

(b) a subpoena (if you're suing someone other than the phone company), or

(c) a discovery request for production of documents (if you're actually suing the phone company)
