Legal Question in Technology Law in California

You Tube

Hi,

I Googled my name today and the

number one listing had my name in

it with a link to a YouTube Q&A.

There, I saw posted ''who is that girl

in the video?'' The answer

was ''her name is, or was, _____...''

So, I thought I'd advance and see

what they were talking about. Well, it

is a video of me when I was 22

filmed by my date at the

time. When I looked at the profile of

the YouTube Channel Owner it was a

picture of me. He has also listed a

false name alongside MY photo. I

didn't remember ever filming this clip

with him. It's not pornographic or

anything, but still, it frightened me

and made me wonder what other

film he has in his library that includes

my image.

Please advise. I am afraid of the fact

that he still has video of me after 27

years for one, but also that he would

use my photo for his ID. After so

many years... why? What rights do I

have in a situation like this.

Thank you very much.

Re: You Tube

1. Have lawyer write to villain demanding immediate takedown.

2. Decide, based on nature of video and his response if any to (1), whether it's worth suing over.

Please take some time and view the YouTube video, "Privacy Is Dead, Get Over It."
