web
hello i want to ask about my website. i want to start a movie download website that will charge to become a member. that website will give members access to over 1000 movies. what my question is, do i have to pay for any copyright to show the movies in my website. also is there something i'm supposed before making the website live, like contact anybody?

Re: web
I hope you're kidding. There's a reason other people aren't doing this already.
You may not charge for access to your movies unless you and the copyright holders (or their designated representatives) reach an agreement that allows you to do so. The copyright holders may refuse to let you do this, and if they agree they will expect you to pay for the privilege.
If you go ahead with your plan without getting the necessary permission for each movie you want to show, you should expect to be sued civilly and perhaps prosecuted criminally.
