Webhost company

Ok to make this short site was down for 2 months, i cannot contact them by email, i cancled the subscription thru paypal, is there anyway i can get a backup of my files and copies of my databases from this company, i cannot contact by email and they have have not communicated to me thru paypal either, paypal refunded 1 months worth, yet there is still 1 month i was not refunded, and i need a full backup of eveything i had what can do? i have lost time and money and prospective employment due to the unavaibility of my content to be viewed for two months. Granted i should have my own backup, but there are some files that are found only online at this time as the site went down durning a backup of the site, and i don't know what to do .

I don't think there are any major or significant legal principles applicable to this situation that differ from those in an ordinary breach of contract. Your biggest problem is clearly that you can't communicate with them, so your starting point or your lawyer's starting point may have to be to retain an investigator to locate the company, its principals, and their assets before you can make demands and before you can bring suit (if necessary).
