How does a 5150 affect your public records ... is it a criminal report? ... is it permanent? ... can it be expunged or contested? ... and who has access to this information? Plus, I was relieved of a registed gun in my own home and feel like i'm being railroaded out of my constitutional rights. For 65 years I've had absolutely no criminal record nor any mental incapacities. A 5150 was nothing I'd ever heard of ... now this ...

They did not take the gun because you are a criminal. They took it because I have to assume that they were concerned you may be distraught enough to hurt yourself. I hope things are better now.
