Legal Question in Constitutional Law in California
Hello, I am 17.5 years old, and currently live in California. Few days ago my dad left me home alone for about 24 hours. I have a boyfriend, and he knows him. When he left the house he called me and said to invite my boyfriend to our house to watch movies in the evening. I refused to do this while I am alone in the house. However, my boyfriend was in the house during the daytime, and dad also knows about this. Now he says that we had sex while he was not at home, and it is not true. I am afraid that he will do something against my boyfriend. Is it possible for him to do anything in this case? I will appreciate any help

Your father can file a police report, but the police won't do anything based solely on his suspicions. They might if there is some evidence that makes it look like you and your boyfriend had sex, but even then they probably won't unless your boyfriend is 18 or older and the evidence is strong.
If your boyfriend is actually younger than you and the authorities believe the two of you had sex, then they would be more likely to prosecute you than him. Here again, though, they likely won't bother unless the evidence is quite solid.
[Note that the police are much more likely to act based on weak evidence if it looks like you were forced to have sex.]
Your father might also try to get a restraining order against your boyfriend. He would need evidence there, too. But it would probably be easier for him to get a restraining order than to have your boyfriend prosecuted.
