Legal Question in Constitutional Law in California

Census Harrassment?

By law, do i have to participate in a US personal census? I participated once, but do not wish to participate again. However, the Census Bureau keeps sending a census taker to my residency. My wife recently told him i don't want to participate going forward. But, yesterday he showed up and left a biz card. What can i do to stop them from bugging (harrassing?) me?

Re: Census Harrassment?

You are required by law to answer the census. It's better to have the census taker knocking at your door than the U.S. Marshall, which is who may be next if you refuse to respond.
