Re: lie detector

No one can be compelled to take a lie detector test. The results are inadmissible in court in all states and federal court. The tests are unreliable and the results can be skewed. Reporters want a quick and easy truth finder and bring this avenue up all the time. I would never recommend any client to take such a stupid test. You might as well have palm reading or Tarot cards as reliable tests. We have a system to find the truth and the judicial system generally works most of the time. Innocent people get convicted every day. No system is perfect, however, our judicial system works for the most part. I have often won cases I knew I should have lost. It has happen several times. OJ wanted to take the polygraph test and all of his lawyers went berserk. Even with the mountain of evidence against him, OJ walked on the criminal charges. You never know what a jury will do. If I could predict that, I would be the richest man in the country. Good luck on your paper.
