Presidential Pardons

My question is let's say if a president commits a crime and he is convicted and they decided to impeach can the president pardon himself from being impeached from a crime that he has committed?

In theory the president can pardon himself, but such a pardon would only affect the criminal case against him. It would not prevent his impeachment. If anything, it would likely cause even more senators to vote in favor of impeachment.
