Legal Question in Constitutional Law in California

Five public defenders later, District atty. made me a deal.

I was innocent and wanted to take my case to trial. Five public defenders later each trying to change my plea, the District atty. made me a deal. (key word here is ''Me'') If I agreed to probable cause,so I couldn't sue, he would dismiss my case. 7years later a background check has revealed my arrest on record changed to a worse felony then I was arrested for and the dates are all wrong. I didn't have an atty. so there was really no one to double check the DA's word. now what do I do? I can't get a job. It went from bad to worse when I really wanted to go to trial but no one would let me prove my innocence.

If the deal was recited before a judge, then that's good evidence. Talk to a criminal attorney. This is a civil litigation bulletin board.
