If you wanted to drive a car and had no driver's license, you could not "use" your father's license or be "put on" your father's license.
A person or company is either licensed or it is not. The idea of "being put on" another party's license or "using" another party's license is usually descriptive of an illegal business practice.
You can be an employee of your father.
