Legal Question in Construction Law in California

I have filed a petition to release a property from expired mechanic's lien using online service rapidlegal.com pursuant to Cal Civil code 3154. It came to my attention, however that some such petitions were denied (Superior Court Case No. 09 CECG 02400) because a petitioner attached a copy of certified copy of mechanic's lien, not the certified copy itself (Civ.Code 3154, subd. (b)(5)). Since the online services using faxes to file a case, my exhibit became a copy of certified copy of mechanic's lien. What should I do to correct this situation? Take certified copies an/or originals with me to the hearing? File an amended petition in person? File a motion to add an exhibit?

Please, advise.

Thanks.
