Legal Question in Construction Law in California

We are a general contractor and will be signing a notice of completion for a project as agent for the owner. In this case are we the declarant or is our client. The form requires a signature from the declarant.

You cannot sign the notice of completion for the owner. It will be invalid if you do. The statute requires the notice to be signed and verified by the owner.
