Legal Question in Construction Law in California

LCC, CLL or LIC?

When creating a marketing scheme for a client contractor, I ran into the problem of not knowing whether to put LIC, LCC or CLL prior to the gentleman's license number. I don't know what they stand for, or what the differences are - and what is legal for that matter. This contracter is specifically licensed in Concrete. A brief explanation would be helpful for this client and future clients. Thank you.

Re: LCC, CLL or LIC?

A check of my local Yellow Pages under the concrete contractors' heading shows that most of them use LIC as an abbreviation for license. The other two you suggest could cause confusion since most of the public would not understand them.
