Legal Question in Construction Law in California
a licensed solar company wants me and my B license to be a silent partner for 10% ownership. other than liability and feeling confident with the people i go into business with, what should i be concerned about?

If you're not actively involved in the supervision of the work under which your B license is being utilized and an issue develops, you could be at risk of losing your license or disciplinary action if a complaint is made to the CSLB. "Silent partner" implies they just want your name and license to do as they see fit. This is illegal "license lending."
