Is it true that a contractor who has put a lien on a property, has 90 days to file an action, otherwise the lien expires? There is no written contract.

Re: Lien
A mechanic's lien must be foreclosed on within 90 days. After 90 days, the lien is null & void. But you still have to sue to have it removed from the property.
