Notice to Employees
Is there any law regarding sending notices to employees by emailing versus sending paper notices?

The proper or acceptable method of giving notice will vary all over the map. I think this has to be considered on a notice-by-notice and maybe even an employee-by-employee basis. In general, giving notices by e-mail is gaining acceptance, but is still not widely recognized as being as certain and safe as by delivery of "hard copy" notices. Reasons include the fact that not everyone has e-mail; spam filters remove a variable and uncertain number of emails from the delivery stream; a relatively low percentage of emails are preserved; emails lack formality and dignity; and so on.
