Legal Question in Construction Law in California
I did a roofing job where the termites had done a whole lot of damage. The home owner still has not paid me the balance owed. The permit was a owner builder permit.I am not a contractor, everything was done on time as agreed is there a time limit on collecting my money and what is the best way to go about this?

You have done contracting work without a license. Under the law not only does the owner not have to pay you any more money, they are entitled to repayment of everything they have paid you.
