can a tenant sue a contractor?
i am a tenant, my landlord hired a bad contractor who caused property damage to my stuff. i am alredy suing the landlord, but someone suggested i add the contractor to the complaint too.
can i sue the contractor even though i didn't sign the construction contract with him? please help!

You could and should sue him for negligence among other things (possibly conversion and trespass to chattels). In order to sue for breach of contract you would need to be in privity of contract or a third party beneficiary so you may not be able to sue for those. It would depend on your circumstances.
