Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I got 4 bids to paint our house, one company thought they got the bid and entered our house and started working - they did NOT have a signed contract or permission to enter our home.
Now they are trying to collect for the paint used and labor. What can I do?

depends upon other facts. How did they get into the house? Who let them in? What made them think they got the job in the first place.
