Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

30 day warranty

Recently I purchased a USED TV from a BUSINESS that has a 30 DAY EXCHANGE POLICY. 2 1/2 weeks later the tv was dead. The tv was replaced. 2 1/2 weeks later the second tv was dead. The dealer says he will do nothing because the warranty period has expired. Since I never had a tv that worked for 30 days should I prevail and get a 3rd used tv? Please tell me so I can dispute this charge through my CREDIT CARD company. Thank You.

Re: 30 day warranty

From the way you describe it to it sounds like they did not honor the exchange agreement and that is probably breach of contract. I would dispute it with the credit card company and also perhaps take them to small Claims Court.
