Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
72 hours right of recision
I signed a contract thinking that I was protected by 72 hours right of recision. this is a seminar contract and found out I cannot attend. I canceled within 72 hours. The company insisted that I am liable though Credit Card company gave me a charge back. The company (seminar) protesting it. I am protected by this Fed law, right? This company is from Canada.

Re: 72 hours right of recision
Read The Friendly Contract. If a 72 hour right of recission isn't in the written contract, you don't have one.
