Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I saw an advertisement on a newspaper for Honda Civic 2014 for price X. I went to the dealership, the sales person verbally agreed to sell me the car for the advertised price. I fill out the paperwork and they ran my credit. At the last minute, the sales manager came out and told me that the ads was a mistake, the price is for the 2013, and he refused to honor the price on the newspaper. Question is can they refuse to sell me the 2014 car AFTER we had an verbal agreement, took my personal information and ran my credit?

Thanks,

You can sue for breach of contract and ask for specific performance in addition to fraud and unfair business practices. You should also report this to the Attorney General's office for consumer fraud.
