Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Attorney fraud
Is it considered fraud to lie about
your credentials, memberships and
State Bar associations on your
website, Martindale and the State
Bar as an attorney? These
credentials and memberships are the
reason the attorney was hired and
because of this attorney, the client
loses everything they own to him as
he defrauds them continuiously for
over four years.

Re: Attorney fraud
If the person wasn't truly a California attorney, he had no right to practice law in California -- and that is a criminal offense. As for memberships, I'm not sure what you mean. Memberships in what? State Bar associations in what?
You obviously have other issues with the attorney as well since, in your opinion, he did not properly represent you. Feel free to provide me with more information by e-mail for an evaluation.
Re: Attorney fraud
It is criminal to do so. I would need to know more about the situation to tell you more than that.
