Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Auction will not provide vehicle registration
I bought a car at an Auction and paid the tax, title and license fees at the time of purchase. The auction said they would be sending me the new plates and registration. It has been 10 months and still no plates or registration. I have contacted them many times and they tell me they will get back to me but never do. What should I do as I can no longer drive the car without being pulled over. They never let me talk to anyone at all just take my name and state they will look into it. Please help

Re: Auction will not provide vehicle registration
If you paid tax, title and license fees but were never provided with plates/registration, you may have a cause of action for breach of contract. What was the value of the car?
You should speak with an attorney.
