Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Used auto purchase
I recently purchased (3 days ago) a used vehicle from a private party. When I got the vehicle home I found an estimate/repair receipt inside. The receipt showed that the vehicle had been involved in a collision about a month prior to my purchase. The repairs were extensive, totaling almost $7000.00. Is the party that sold me the vehicle required to disclose this information?
