Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Used Auto Purchase
In May of this year, I purchased a used autofrom a dealer with an extended warranty. This vehicle has been in the shop more than I have drive it. The first time there was over 2200 dollars in repair bills which the warranty company paid for. However because they did not do a diagnostic test. I took it to a ford dealer and they founs several other item that were defective. I have the invoices. I just received another call and they also discovered a leaky fuel rail. This is a severe safety infraction because they vehicle could have easily caught on fire and someone could have been killed.I would like to know if I can recoup all of my out of pocket expenses and give the car back? The car is still financed but I don't think it will ever be drivable. What options do I have? So far about 4000 dollars has been spent on repair bills, not including the cost of rental cars with that expense its over 5,000.00 dollars with about halh of that coming out of my pocket.,

Re: Used Auto Purchase
The first question is whether the car was sold "As Is" or warranty. These are on the buyers guide. Once i know that, I can proceed further. Please advise.
