Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Auto Repair
Per the mechanic at Marty's Motors the motor in my vehicle seized due to a defective part. The product was purchased by Marty's Motors from GEX International Corp. and was installed in my vehicle. 4 months & 2,000 miles after the warranty expired the engine seized. Per the mechanic this was inevitable due to the defect. Marty's Motors will not stand behind the repair as they state that GEX will not stand behind the defective product.
What recourse do I have and who is responsible?

Sue the manufacture of the part and asked the mechanic to be witness for you in court.
