auto repair gone wrong
took my car to a mechanic. they said blown head gasket gave estimate of 1600.00 gave ok went to pick up car bill was over 2500.00 (they changed additional parts). paid mechanic, drove car it is in worse shape now then before, electrical systems not working, transmission bad, etc.... mechanic said warranty only on head gasket. stopped payment on check. now what

Go to another mechanic. One approved by AAA and get an estimate of damage to engine. Tell them what happened. Keep this. When 1st mechanic tries to sue, bring estimate to court. Also file a file a complaint with the BAR.
