Billing Dispute with the Dental Office
I registered with the dental office for some dental work, and gave the usual information , including the Insurance company name & my group number. I took a full exam based on which a Treatment Proposal was made out to me.I got a few things done on my teeth, as per the proposal, and paid my dues as specified. After the work was done(over a period of a few weeks), the dental office informed me that there was some problem with the kind of insurance I had, and that they would be billing me further with the difference. Now, this difference is a lot( about a thousand dollars), and I cannot afford to pay it.
Kindly advise if there is a way the dental office is required to honor the treatment proposal as in the first place.

sounds like the proposal is a contract. if so, they must honor it.
