Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
If i bought a brand new laptop in 07 with 5 yr warranty and had the same problem with it and it turned out to be a lemon (4th repair) but they wnt to replace it . Can i ask for a refund or do i have to accept the replacement.?

This would be governed by the written warranty. Most of the warranties that Ive seen allow a replacement and never a refund. I doubt suing them for a faulty computer after this many years with 4 repairs would be succesful, based on what the facts presented.
