Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

i bought a used car about 43 days ago, the dealer was unable to find me financing and now is asking for the car back. while i have had the car i had to put 1400.00 into the car for repairs. the dealer says they will only give me my deposit back and not the cost of repairs, it that legal?

Read The Contract. Most auto contracts say they can be rescinded by the dealer only for 10 days. I would tell the dealer to go pound sand and if he repoes the car, sue. Look up [yo-yo sale].
