Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I bought a couch at a thrift store for $25 and paid $15 for delivery by 2pm on Sunday so that I would have it in time for my 6 pm business presentation.. The couch was not delivered at all on Sunday. 6 people refused to stay for the presentation because there was no where to sit. That cost me almost $1,000. Am I within my rights to demand that the couch be delivered for free and that I be reimbursed the purchase price as well?
