Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I bought a Used Lexus for 12500 with a waranty and later on found out that the mileage on the contract was off by 68000 miles. it has 183000 and on the contract it was writted as 116411. i looke at a car fax and it said that the car had 116410 in 2005..they put 1 mile more on the contract than what it had 4 years ago. i test drove it at least 5 miles. also, the 5 disc cd changer was missing and the rear breaks were shot. The car engine blew 3 days after purchase. on the contract the dealer made it almost impossible to read the mileage but everything else is legible. the dealer offered me beer while i was waiting for the paperwork to be printed and i am pretty sure he was drinking as well.
