Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I bought many raffel tickets for $20 ea. for a new motorcycle. I was just sent an email stating they did not reach there quota and are extending the date on raffel drawing and offering tickets at a MUCH discounted price. IS THIS LEGAL ? It upsets me that I paid full price and was hoping they would not sell so many to insure better odds for all. Please advise ? There was NO written notes that if quota was not met - the raffle drawing would be extended -

You will have to read the original rules, which they should give you. They should not be able to extend the raffle unless it is set out in their original solicitation.
