Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Breach of Contract
My company accepted a print job from a know dealership, we quoted the delearship $1900 for the job. Due to the size of the job we in turn contracted out. We hired another small printing company (Company #1). The other company(#1) took our job and charged us $825, we gave them $100 for deposit and the job was promised to be completed in 15 days. 22 days later the job was not started, so we had to contract another company (company #2) who charged us aprox. $7,000, due to the urgency of the job.
We want to sue company #1 for breach of contract, due to their delay we have to pay our client $3652.99.
Do we have a case?

Re: Breach of Contract
from the facts given so far, not only do you have a very strong claim against company #1 for breach of contract, but you should recover all of your out of pocket damages that company #1 caused you as you attempted to "cover and mitigate" your losses due to their breach. if you would like further legal assistance and/or aggressive representation in this matter, feel free to email me directly asap with how you might like to proceed in recovery of your damages. thanks for your question.
