Breaking a Lease on Apartment
If someone was on a yearly lease terms with a landlord and has been a good tenant for 4 years and the lease is up in 3 months, but that someone was unable to continue the terms due to job loss, can that person break the lease without facing consequences of law suits or having to pay the remainder of the lease term until the landlord finds a replacement?

That person is liable only for the monthly rent for the balance of the lease.
