Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
buyer beware rule
Most people are aware of buyer beware. However, if a senior citizen (or anybody) has something repaired and is charged an exorbatant price, how was he/she to know? Many repair technicians are smooth talkers and can charge just about anything. Is there any law that makes it illegal to charge high prices?
