Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Buyers rights in private car sales
bought a car from a rental place three days ago and the day before yesterday it broke down. The purchase order is as-is and no warranty, but do I have any rights? I bought the car for 1795, and the cost to repair the engine damage is 2200.

You might be able to have it towed away for scrap metal without having to pay. If the seller did not smog the vehicle, take them to court.
