Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
In California I just bought a new Civic LX and a 'protection' package was part of what I paid for. When the salesman was talking about the car, he said it included door edge protectors, mud flaps and 'stuff'. The 'stuff' was never explained to me and stupidly, I bought the car. But there are no mudflaps. The dealer says they are there. What I saw were dinky little flaps in the front of the rear wheel wells. They are completely inside the wheel well and I don't see how they serve a purpose in keeping mud off of my car. In fact, they don't. When one looks up variations of mud flaps, guards, etc, one gets a completely different thing altogether. The real mudflaps are what I would have expected to be put on my car since my girlfriend has the same car. The dealer refuses to put on the real mudflaps. Can I take them to small claims to get them to put them on?
