In california can i get out of a lease on the next business day on a rental property?

Sure, if they will let you, or if you pay the rent until they do find, or through commercially reasonable efforts could have found, a replacement tenant. The law is that they are under no obligation to let you out, but they can only charge you for lost rent until they find a replacement, or could have found one if they had made commercially reasonable efforts.

Mr. McCormick's answer is only applicable to residential property. Having not mentioned the differences, he may not know the law about commercial property. If you are dealing with non-residential property, check with an attorney who is familiar with the law in that area.
