Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Someone called me to sell tickets to a rodeo scheduled for October 2010 claiming they were from the California Police Activities League. I agreed to buy the tickets in a recorded conversation. The tickets were to be mailed to me and I was to send payment at a later date. I immediately regretted the decision to buy the tickets after hanging up believing the call to be a scam. Am I obligated to buy the tickets Once they are sent to me? Ideally, I would like to just return the tickets once received.
