Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership for the last two months, they say they never received my cancellation letter, now my contract has been auto renewed for a year & they wont let me cancel it, I've asked to see the contract I signed but they keep giving me the run around saying it will take a week to retrieve, I've called over 10 times, and have waited about two weeks to see my contract, the general manager avoids all calls & will not see me in person, what can I do?

How about sending them another letter with a copy of the cancellation letter? They need to provide you a contract. Revoke the auto payments and they will notice and talk with you.
